Interstate 635

Complex Projects
Exceptional Outcomes

The 635 project was recognized at the time as the largest greenfield public partnership ever undertaken in the United States. The nearly six-mile corridor between IH-35 and IH-75 required Sinacola to excavate more than six million cubic yards of material, including approximately 2.5 million cubic yards of rock. Scope of work also included utility installations, MSE wall construction, and placement of concrete bridge slabs. All activities were executed under an accelerated schedule, with the majority performed in continuous 24-hour operations.
